For the first time ever, Reap the Harvest’s lead catching coach Emily Kepple is heading back home to Ohio from the East Coast for an exclusive training experience with some of the best in the game. Whether you’re newer to the position or have years of experience behind the dish, this opportunity is perfect for catchers ready to elevate their craft and command the field.

COACH EMILY KEPPLE

A native of Miamisburg, Emily was a three-sport athlete at MHS. She earned All-Conference and All-State honors, was named GWOC Softball Player of the Year (2016), and Most Outstanding Female Athlete upon graduation (2018). She was an impact player and starting catcher throughout her entire Division I college career, earning both her B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Sport Administration from Hampton University. After college, Emily secured her spot playing professionally on the US Virgin Islands National team. She now lives her dream, traveling the globe to compete against the top teams in the world.

COACH IZZY KEPPLE

Also a Miamisburg HS graduate, Izzy — Emily’s younger sister — earned GWOC First Team and Second Team (2x) honors during her time at MHS. She was also a key player in the Vikings’ record-breaking 24-0 season her sophomore year, led by her father as head coach, before a hard-fought finish in the district finals. Now competing at Cuyahoga Community College and pursuing a degree in Radiology, Izzy had a tremendous freshman year. She made the All-OCCAC Team, was OCCAC player of the week, and batted an astounding .579, breaking the single-season batting average record at her school and ranking her 4th in the entire nation.

COACH VIERA BARRETT

Viera is a Beavercreek High School graduate now continuing her academic and athletic journey at Ohio Wesleyan University. Throughout her high school career, she earned numerous honors, including GWOC First Team, GWOC Second Team (2x), Defensive Player of the Year (2x), and Offensive Player of the Year. Now kicking off her freshman season at OWU, Viera is double-majoring in Physics and Mathematics while continuing to shine on the field.
